The event itself seemed very well organized. Kudos to the team. I however have some recommendations for the content of the event.

    1. Considering that the TED videos were available to the public, there really wasn’t any reason (save to eat up time) why TEDx decided to show a playback of the videos. Not very innovative or adequate use of the event. Half a day of meaningful, interactive events, impact far more than a whole day of events (half of which involves lazing around a big screen).

    2. The event had too much of a classroom-lecture feel to it. I think it would be tremendously beneficial in the future if there were some interactive sessions in addition to the traditional talks. This could be done by creating smaller group sessions on varying topics were people could discuss and SHARE IDEAS.

    3. I don’t have a tangible solution on how this one should be implemented but I think it’s worth considering. Networking. There wasn’t as much networking between participants especially during the break periods. Perhaps TEDx could have a networking session or inscribe into the name tags what people do or where they work.

Was happy to notice that the drinks were cold and the meat pies were warm :) That was nice.
